All three are built around Anker’s new THUS audio-processing platform and are scheduled for retail availability around September 22, 2026, but the similarities largely stop there. The Space 2 Pro promises the strongest isolation and longest single-device endurance. AeroClip 2 gives up the sealed-ear advantage in exchange for awareness and reduced ear-canal pressure. Anker’s distributed press release explicitly gives UK/EU prices for AeroClip 2 and Liberty Buds 2 but says Space 2 Pro regional pricing will be announced separately. Some IFA outlets quote £199/€199.99, so FrediTech treats those figures as provisional rather than official retail pricing until Soundcore posts the local product page.

Soundcore Space 2 Pro: The Over-Ear Choice
Space 2 Pro is the most conventional premium headphone in the group and gets the strongest specification sheet. Soundcore says a 35mm rigid-flex dual-material diaphragm handles audio, while HearID 5.0 creates a personalized listening profile. LDAC is confirmed for higher-bitrate Bluetooth playback on compatible sources.
The headphone weighs 264g, supports Bluetooth 6.1 and two-device multipoint, and Soundcore lists spatial audio. The company also promotes high-resolution audio in wired and wireless use, but the launch release reviewed by FrediTech does not clearly specify whether the new model exposes 3.5mm analog audio, USB-C digital audio or both. Travelers should verify the final port specification before assuming it will plug directly into an aircraft seat.

Eight-Microphone ANC Is Not a Quality Score
Soundcore describes Adaptive ANC 3.0 with eight microphones, processing environmental information at up to 384kHz and adjusting cancellation as the noise changes. That should help the system respond to mixed office sounds such as HVAC, speech and keyboard activity.
But eight microphones do not automatically make ANC twice as effective as a four-mic design. Placement, seal, DSP, algorithm quality and earcup acoustics all matter. Useful independent tests need to cover aircraft rumble, train noise, voices, wind and irregular street sounds before anyone calls Space 2 Pro a Sony or Bose killer.

Six-Microphone Calls and 20-Hour Talk Claim
For calls, Anker describes a six-microphone voice-isolation array working with the THUS chip. The company says it is designed to separate speech from complex backgrounds reaching 100dB.
That is a marketing test condition, not proof that a construction site disappears from the other caller’s end. The launch material also describes an eight-microphone ANC architecture; FrediTech does not add those figures together and call this a “14-microphone headphone,” because the physical overlap between the systems has not been fully explained.
The Verge reports a claimed up to 20 hours of talk time. That is unusually relevant for Teams, Zoom and phone-heavy work, but call endurance and call clarity are different measurements.
Battery: 60 Hours Means ANC Off
The battery headline needs an important qualifier. Space 2 Pro is rated for:
- Up to 60 hours of music at 50% volume with ANC off.
- Up to 30 hours with ANC enabled.

Soundcore AeroClip 2: Open-Ear Comfort Over Isolation
AeroClip 2 solves the opposite problem. Its C-shaped clip holds the speaker outside the ear canal rather than sealing it with a silicone tip. That can reduce the “plugged ear” sensation and preserve more awareness of traffic, coworkers and announcements.
The trade-off is fundamental: an open ear has less passive isolation. AeroClip 2 is therefore not a substitute for Space 2 Pro on an airplane, nor should buyers expect conventional ANC-earbud privacy in a quiet office.
Soundcore says it developed the fit using 2,000 ear profiles. The new model uses a 12mm dynamic driver, supports LDAC, includes the THUS processor for call voice isolation, and adds real-time translation through the Soundcore app with Apple MFi integration.
Battery and Price Versus the Original AeroClip
AeroClip 2 is rated for up to eight hours per charge and 32 hours with the case. It launches at $169.99—the same US price currently listed for the original AeroClip on Soundcore’s store.
That makes the upgrade decision feature-based rather than price-based. Existing AeroClip owners should wait for measured comparisons of calls, fit, wind noise, sound leakage and sound quality rather than upgrading simply because the model number changed.
AeroClip 2 is conceptually strongest for walking, running and situations where awareness matters. It should not be marketed as automatically “safe for cycling”; wind, helmet straps, road conditions and local rules still matter.
Soundcore Liberty Buds 2: The $129.99 Everyday ANC Option
Liberty Buds 2 are the most conventional earbuds here and the easiest model to understand for commuters. Each bud weighs about 4.7g, and Soundcore uses a compact bean-shaped design rather than the clip architecture of AeroClip 2.
The company describes an eight-sensor call system, including two voice-processing units, plus a separate six-microphone ANC system. A Comfort ANC mode is intended to reduce the pressure sensation some listeners experience with stronger cancellation. Soundcore also says TÜV evaluated the design for comfort.
The driver is a 9.2mm wool-paper diaphragm, and HearID 5.0 personalization is included.
Launch-briefing material reports around 12 hours in normal listening and seven hours with ANC, extending to roughly 46 and 27 hours with the case respectively. Soundcore’s own PC-meeting guidance also references wireless charging and a 10-minute quick charge providing up to four hours. Those details should be rechecked against the final support page on September 22.

Android, iPhone, LDAC and the Soundcore App
LDAC is confirmed for Space 2 Pro and AeroClip 2. Android has supported Sony’s LDAC codec in its Bluetooth stack for years; Android’s official documentation documents its platform integration.
iPhones do not natively output LDAC. That does not make these products unsuitable for iPhone, but iOS buyers should not assign value to LDAC when comparing prices. AeroClip 2’s MFi-enabled translation feature is a separate iPhone-specific advantage.
