This Privacy Policy explains how FrediTech collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use FrediTech.com, our online store, contact and subscription features, advertising-supported content, and the FrediTech WordPress Assistant and FrediTech AI Bridge services.
By using our website or services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. Where consent is required by applicable law, we will request it separately.
1. Who we are
FrediTech operates https://freditech.com/ and related FrediTech services. For privacy or data-protection questions, contact us at wiredfred@gmail.com.
2. Information we may collect
- Information you provide: name, email address, contact messages, account information, order and shipping details, comments, feedback, support requests, and other information you choose to submit.

- Store information: products viewed, cart activity, order details, delivery information, and transaction status. Payment card or mobile-money credentials are handled by the applicable payment provider and are not intended to be stored by FrediTech unless a provider specifically makes limited transaction data available to us.
- Advertising and analytics information: ad impressions, clicks, campaign information, audience or measurement data, and cookie or similar identifiers where enabled.
- WordPress Assistant information: the WordPress site URL and display name, authorized WordPress content returned for a request, media and SEO metadata, product information, site diagnostics, OAuth security information, request timestamps and identifiers, and a restricted revocable bridge credential used to access the connected WordPress site.

4. FrediTech WordPress Assistant and AI Bridge
The FrediTech WordPress Assistant allows a site owner or administrator to connect ChatGPT to a WordPress site running the FrediTech AI Bridge. The connection uses browser-mediated WordPress administrator approval and OAuth authorization-code authentication with PKCE.
Your WordPress administrator password is not sent to the FrediTech gateway. After approval, the WordPress bridge issues a restricted, revocable credential associated with a least-privilege service account. The gateway stores that credential encrypted at rest and uses it only for the WordPress site and capabilities you authorized.
Requests may include permitted WordPress post or page content, media metadata, SEO metadata, WooCommerce product information, internal-link suggestions, and site diagnostics. The public review profile is designed to exclude high-risk capabilities such as arbitrary SQL, shell or PHP execution, user administration, payment or customer access, and unrestricted WordPress REST access.
Disconnecting the app removes the stored gateway connection credential and attempts to revoke the corresponding WordPress bridge token. A disconnected site must be approved again before the assistant can access it.
5. Data retention for connected WordPress sites
FrediTech minimizes connection data and keeps it only for as long as needed to provide and secure the service. The gateway is currently configured to remove inactive site connection records after 30 days of inactivity. The WordPress bridge separately applies its own public-connection inactivity policy, currently up to 180 days, unless the connection is revoked or removed sooner. Short-lived OAuth replay-prevention records are automatically cleaned after expiry and a limited security grace period.
When a user disconnects the WordPress Assistant, the gateway connection record is deleted immediately as part of the disconnect flow. Backups and infrastructure logs may persist for limited operational or security periods before they are overwritten or deleted in accordance with backup and hosting practices.
6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
FrediTech may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, account and cart features, analytics, security, advertising, and remembering preferences. We may use Google services, including analytics and advertising products, to measure traffic and serve or evaluate ads. Google and other advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers according to their own privacy policies.
You can control cookies through your browser and, where available, through site or advertising preference controls. Blocking some cookies may affect site, account, cart, or checkout functionality.
7. Affiliate links and sponsored content
Some FrediTech pages contain affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link or purchase from a third-party retailer, that third party may receive information needed to attribute the referral and complete the transaction. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Sponsored content, when used, is identified as such.
8. Ecommerce and payment providers
FrediTech uses WordPress and WooCommerce features to operate store functions. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Paystack. Payment providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. FrediTech may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing details, or other limited information needed to administer an order, issue support, or meet accounting and legal obligations.
9. Service providers and third parties
We may use service providers to host, secure, analyze, advertise, communicate, process payments, or otherwise operate FrediTech services. These may include Hostinger for hosting infrastructure, Google services for analytics, advertising, search or merchant features, Paystack for supported payments, and OpenAI/ChatGPT when a user chooses to use the FrediTech WordPress Assistant through ChatGPT. Other WordPress or WooCommerce integrations may process data when their features are enabled.
Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and may process information in countries different from yours. We do not control their independent processing practices.
10. Embedded content and external websites
Articles may include embedded videos, images, social posts, maps, product widgets, or other content from external websites. Embedded content can behave as though you visited the external provider directly and may allow that provider to collect data, set cookies, or track interactions according to its own policies.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. For the WordPress Assistant these include HTTPS, OAuth with PKCE, encrypted stored bridge credentials, restricted WordPress service-user permissions, request allowlists, private-network/SSRF protections, rate limiting, revocation controls, and WordPress capability checks. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to certain processing of your personal information, and in some cases data portability or the right to withdraw consent. California and other U.S. state laws may also provide rights regarding targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of personal information.
FrediTech does not sell personal information for money. Advertising and analytics partners may process identifiers or activity data for measurement or personalization; in some jurisdictions, that activity may be treated as “sharing” or targeted advertising. You may contact us to exercise applicable rights, and we will respond as required by law.
13. Children
FrediTech is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website or WordPress Assistant. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
14. International users
FrediTech serves an international audience. Your information may be processed in countries where FrediTech or its service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, vendors, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes may be highlighted through additional notice where appropriate.
