FrediTech and Modern Collective

Terms & Conditions

Effective date: September 17, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of FrediTech, including FrediTech.com, our editorial content, online store, support features, and the FrediTech WordPress Assistant and FrediTech AI Bridge. By accessing or using these services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the affected service.

1. About FrediTech

FrediTech publishes technology news, product reviews, comparisons, buying guides, tutorials, deals, smart-home coverage, EV and mobility coverage, and modern-living content. FrediTech also operates ecommerce features and develops the FrediTech WordPress Assistant, which connects authorized ChatGPT users to WordPress sites running the FrediTech AI Bridge.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You may use FrediTech only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not misuse the website or services, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, scrape or automate access in a manner that disrupts the service, infringe third-party rights, or use FrediTech to violate applicable law or platform rules.

3. Accounts and security

If you create a FrediTech or store account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for activity conducted through your account. Notify FrediTech promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Editorial information and product guidance

FrediTech aims to provide useful and accurate information, but technology specifications, prices, availability, software features, launch dates, retailer terms, and manufacturer claims can change. Content is provided for general informational purposes and should not be treated as a guarantee that a product, service, price, or feature will remain available or perform exactly as described.

Where an article relies on manufacturer claims, early information, leaks, projections, or third-party testing, we aim to distinguish those sources from independently verified facts. You are responsible for checking current product details, compatibility, warranties, pricing, and seller terms before making a purchase or other decision.

5. Affiliate links, advertising, and sponsored content

FrediTech may earn commissions from qualifying purchases or referrals made through affiliate links. Affiliate compensation does not increase the price you pay unless a seller states otherwise. We may also display advertising or publish sponsored content. Sponsored content will be identified where appropriate, and editorial opinions remain our own.

Third-party retailers, advertisers, and affiliate partners control their own prices, stock, shipping, warranties, returns, privacy practices, and transaction terms. FrediTech is not responsible for a third party’s performance or policies.

6. Online store and purchases

Products offered through the FrediTech store may be supplied directly or through third-party fulfillment, dropshipping, marketplace, or logistics partners. Product images, descriptions, availability, delivery estimates, and specifications may originate from suppliers and can change.

Orders are subject to acceptance, product availability, fraud and payment checks, shipping restrictions, and applicable taxes or duties. We may cancel or refund an order when fulfillment is not possible, a listing contains a material error, payment cannot be completed, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Paystack. Payment providers have their own terms and privacy practices. Refunds and returns are also subject to our applicable Refund and Returns Policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction.

7. FrediTech WordPress Assistant

The FrediTech WordPress Assistant provides a conversational integration between ChatGPT and WordPress sites running the FrediTech AI Bridge. You may connect only a WordPress site that you own, administer, or are authorized to manage.

The connection requires browser-mediated WordPress administrator approval. The WordPress administrator password is not sent to the FrediTech gateway. The bridge issues a restricted, revocable credential and applies WordPress capabilities and feature settings as the final permission boundary.

8. WordPress Assistant permissions and actions

The WordPress Assistant may, when permitted by the connected site and granted OAuth scopes, read site information and content, create drafts, update permitted content, manage supported media and SEO metadata, read WooCommerce catalog information, suggest internal links, and read bounded diagnostics. Some capabilities may be disabled by the bridge or by the public app profile.

You are responsible for reviewing requested actions and generated content before publishing or relying on them. FrediTech does not guarantee that generated text, edits, SEO recommendations, product information, internal-link suggestions, or diagnostics will be error-free or suitable for every site.

9. Backups and site changes

Maintain current backups before using write, migration, maintenance, or other consequential WordPress features. WordPress revisions may make some edits reversible, but not every change, external effect, media operation, integration action, or third-party transaction can be guaranteed reversible.

10. Disconnecting the WordPress Assistant

You may disconnect the FrediTech WordPress Assistant or revoke its WordPress bridge credential. The disconnect flow removes the stored gateway connection record and attempts to revoke the corresponding WordPress bridge token. A disconnected site must be approved again before the service can access it.

11. Third-party platforms and services

FrediTech may depend on or interact with services provided by WordPress, WooCommerce, hosting providers, payment processors, Google services, OpenAI/ChatGPT, retailers, affiliate networks, shipping providers, and other integrations. Those services are governed by their own terms, availability, and privacy practices. FrediTech is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, account restrictions, or service decisions.

12. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, FrediTech’s original articles, graphics, branding, site design elements, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the website for personal, lawful purposes. You may not republish, sell, systematically copy, or commercially exploit substantial portions of FrediTech content without permission.

Product names, logos, trademarks, images, software, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on FrediTech does not by itself imply endorsement or affiliation.

13. User submissions and communications

If you submit comments, feedback, reviews, support messages, or other content, you must have the right to provide it and must not submit unlawful, malicious, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or privacy-invasive material. We may moderate, reject, or remove submissions that violate these Terms or applicable law.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the FrediTech Privacy Policy. By using services that require data processing, you acknowledge that policy and any additional notices presented at the point of collection.

15. Service availability and changes

FrediTech may add, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features or services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, WordPress installation, plugin, theme, hosting provider, browser, or third-party service.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FrediTech services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy beyond warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FrediTech will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of the website or services, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, third-party transactions, product failures, or unauthorized use caused by circumstances outside FrediTech’s reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or costs arising from your unlawful use of FrediTech, your unauthorized management of a WordPress site, your infringement of third-party rights, or your material breach of these Terms.

19. Applicable law and consumer rights

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in them is intended to waive mandatory consumer, privacy, or other statutory rights that apply to you. Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the applicable court or dispute process will depend on the governing law and jurisdiction that legally applies to the parties and transaction.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when our services, integrations, commercial practices, or legal obligations change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
